Biography

Alejandro developed a passion for guitar and was initially mentored by a Spanish family friend who had dedicated his life to flamenco guitar.

With his creativity in composition and love of music, the guitar has become a way of life for Alejandro as he continues to engage diverse audiences from all corners of the globe.

Alejandro was born in Melbourne of Latin American & Mediterranean heritage. His original Spanish guitar compositions are heavily influenced by his extensive experience and knowledge of traditional Flamenco as well as Latin Jazz. As a songwriter and flamenco guitarist, he is often invited to collaborate with Australian and international artists across many genres such as Jazz, Classical and also Latin American folk music.
After extensive travels playing and touring through Asia, Europe, Latin America and Australia, he released two independent albums of his original compositions; "Solquemia" & "Limonera" which have since sold thousands of copies to audiences in Australia, Europe, Asia and the Americas.

As an active musician in demand, Alejandro performs regularly with “Solquemia” and also shares his passion for flamenco guitar through teaching private guitar lessons in Melbourne.
