Comprised of Alejandro Florez (guitar), Aya Kitaoji (vocals/percussion) and Nathan Slater (guitar), Solquemia Trio’s genre embracing/bridging nature blends elements of improvised and popular flamenco music, with alluring compositions by the Trio.
The trio regularly capture audiences with vibrant rhythms of percussion and impassioned vocals, combining with the subtle melodic sensitivities of the guitar arrangements that swirl and spiral around the spectrum of sentiments. The repertoire transports listeners on a musical journey to Spain, Latin America and the Mediterranean.
